How to combine email reports


This article describes how to combine email reports if you have multiple devices. Follow these steps if you get multiple email alerts for your computers or if the email alert does not include all of your computers.


  • This article assumes that you have permission to configure your Device Backup Settings. However, your administrator may disable the ability to edit this setting.
  • To allow email from Code42, ensure that is added to your email server's allowlist. If you suspect that email is not arriving from Code42, contact our Technical Support Engineers.


To combine emails, log in to the Code42 console and make sure all of your devices are set to the same delivery time.

  1. Sign in to the Code42 agent on one of your devices.
  2. Select Settings button Settings.
  1. Click Manage account on the web...
    The Code42 console opens.
  2. Sign in to the Code42 console using your Code42 agent username and password.
  3. Select Administration > Environment > Agents.
  4. Select an agent.
    The agent details appear.
  5. Select Actions > Edit device backup defaults.
    The Device backup settings appear.
  6. Select Reporting.
  7. Next to Delivery time, either select a different time, or just note the time.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Go back to Administration > Environment > Agents.
  10. Select a different agent.
  11. Repeat the steps above to change the delivery time to match the first device if necessary.
