Support site updates FAQ

Overview

As of June 1, 2023, our help center for contacting Code42 Support and our support articles will all be available in one place: support.code42.com. As a result, article URLs and search options will change. This article details the changes.

FAQs

What does this mean for article links?

As part of unifying chat, ticketing, and support articles on the same domain, article URLs will change. As a result, direct links from before June 1, 2023 to articles on support.code42.com will stop working after June 1, 2023. If you have bookmarks or use direct links to our documentation, you will need to update them. After June 1, you can search within the site to find the article you are looking for. You can also contact our support team and we can provide you with updated article links.

How will I find articles?

After June 1, 2023, Google and other search engine results will continue to point to the old article URLs for some time. Clicking these links will bring you to a landing page with a search box to help you find the article you need.

How will I create tickets and get help from Code42 Support?

After June 1, 2023, you can come directly to support.code42.com to find support articles and to contact our support team. While support articles will remain publicly accessible, ticketing and chat still require registration/sign-in and user validation to communicate with our support team. Additionally, you can continue to create support tickets by emailing gethelp@code42.com.
