CrashPlan app version 4 is retired as a supported version of Code42 products on May 31st, 2018. This article explains what CrashPlan app version 4 retirement means to customers who are currently using this version.

Any good or service produced or provided by Code42.

CrashPlan app version 4
Beginning with major software version 4.0 and including all subsequent 4.x software versions of Code42 for Enterprise endpoint software.

This announcement does not affect users in the Agent Partner Program, who will continue to be supported until a projected date of January, 2019.

CrashPlan app version 4 retirement

CrashPlan app version 4 reaches end of support on May 31st, 2018. This means after this date:

  • Computers running Code42 app version 4 no longer receive upgrades or patches, including critical security patches.
  • Our Customer Champion team can no longer guarantee assistance with issues arising from the use of CrashPlan app version 4.
  • Code42 cannot guarantee that CrashPlan app version 4 will operate without issues.
