Overview

Windows XP and Windows Vista are being retired as supported operating systems for Code42 products. This article explains what Windows XP and Windows Vista retirement means to current customers who have Code42 products installed on these operating systems.

Retirement of Windows XP and Windows Vista

Code42 no longer supports, guarantees operation of, or promises assistance with the following products when they run on Windows XP or Windows Vista operating systems:

  • Code42 servers versions 5.0.1 and later
  • Code42 agents versions 5.0.1 and later
  • Code42 agents versions 4.8 and later

Customers can continue to use the 4.0.x through 4.7.x versions of the Code42 agent on Windows XP and Windows Vista until Code42 chooses to end support for those versions. For more information, review our Product Lifecycle Policy.
