Windows Server 2003 is being retired as a supported operating system for Code42 products. This article explains what Windows Server 2003 retirement means to current customers who have Code42 products installed on this operating system.

Windows Server 2003 retirement
Version 4.2 of the Code42 agent, released in June 2015, is the last supported version for computers running Windows Server 2003. Additionally, Code42's end-of-support date for Windows Server 2003 is July 14th, 2015. This means that on that date, Code42 will stop providing support for our software on computers running Windows Server 2003.
This means:
- Computers running Windows Server 2003 will no longer receive automatic upgrades to the Code42 agent.
- After the end of support date, our Technical Support Engineer team can no longer guarantee assistance with issues arising from use of the Code42 agent on Windows Server 2003.
- After the end of support date, Code42 cannot guarantee that our products will operate without issues on Windows Server 2003.
Frequently asked questions
Code42 innovates and evolves our solutions to provide customers with richer functionality and more robust products. For this reason, we cannot continue to support operating systems that are no longer supported or updated by their manufacturer.
