Identify your Code42 product plan, version, or role
Overview
This article describes how to identify your cloud or on-premises Code42 environment, app version, product plan, and role. Since these affect the functionality of your Code42 software, they are helpful to know when you:

For administrators of on-premises Code42 environments, this article also describes how to check your authority server version.
Identify your Code42 environment
To determine if your instance is in the cloud or on-premises:
- Sign in to the Code42 console.
- Check the URL you used to sign in.
- If you signed in using one of the following URLs, you have a cloud Code42 environment. You can also view your cloud Code42 environment on the Account menu.
- CrashPlan for Small Business: https://console.us2.crashplanpro.com/login
- If you signed in using another URL, similar to the examples below, you have an on-premises Code42 environment.
- https://authority-server.example.com:4285/console
- https://192.0.2.100:4285/console
- If you signed in using one of the following URLs, you have a cloud Code42 environment. You can also view your cloud Code42 environment on the Account menu.
Identify your product plan
Code42 cloud only
Sign into the Code42 console and hover over the Account menu in the upper-right corner.
On-premises only:
- Sign in to the Code42 console.
- Go to Administration > Status > Subscriptions. Your product plan appears in the Subscriptions screen.

Identify your Code42 app version
Does not apply to Incydr Professional, Enterprise, and Horizon.

Identify your role
Depending on your role, you may not have access to some features. To view your roles:
- Sign in to the Code42 console.
- Hover over the Account menu in the upper-right corner and select your name.
The My Profile screen opens. - View the role(s) assigned to you under Roles.
- Incydr Professional, Enterprise, and Horizon: To display, click Roles next to Data Sources.
- Incydr Basic and Advanced, CrashPlan Cloud, and other plans: Appears automatically next to Reference.

Identify your authority server version
Applies to on-premises environments only.
As an administrator of an on-premises authority server, check the Code42 server version from the Code42 console:
- Sign in to the Code42 console.
- Navigate to Administration > Settings > Server.
- Under General, see Current server version.
