Send Instructor lessons with the Actions menu

Overview

If you have an Code42 Instructor product plan or an Incydr product plan that includes Code42 Instructor, you can send lessons directly to users from Incydr. This article describes how to use the Actions menu to send Code42 Instructor lessons to users and the configuration needed to set it up.

Considerations

This functionality is available only if you have a Code42 Instructor product plan or an Incydr product plan that includes Code42 Instructor. Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) for assistance with licensing. If you do not know your CSM, contact our Customer Champions for support.

Before you begin

Verify that the following are configured correctly:

Send an Code42 Instructor lesson

  1. Sign in to the Code42 console.
  2. Access the user profile or alert notification.
    • You can open a user profile in a number of ways:
      • Go to User activity > All users, then select View profile from the Actions  menu to open that user's profile.
      • Click View profile when it appears next to a username in the Code42 console.
      • Click a hyperlinked username in the Code42 console.
    • Go to Actions > Review alerts and then select the notification from the list.
  3. From the Actions menu, select Send user an Instructor lesson, then select the lesson to send from either the Responsive lessons or Situational lessons list.
Code42 creates a new email message, copies the message text for that lesson into it and inserts the appropriate URL, and then sends the message to the user.
