Overview

This article describes how to combine email reports if you have multiple devices. Follow these steps if you get multiple email alerts for your computers or if the email alert does not include all of your computers.

Considerations

This article assumes that you have permission to configure your Device Backup Settings. However, your administrator may disable the ability to edit this setting.

Steps

To combine emails, log in to the administration console and make sure all of your devices are set to the same delivery time.

  1. Sign in to the Code42 app on one of your devices.
  2. Navigate to Device Preferences:
  • Code42 app version 6.8.3 and later: Select settings button Settings.
  • Code42 app version 6.8.2 and earlier: 
    1. Click Details.
    2. Select the arrow next to your device name.
    3. Choose Device preferences.

  1. Click Manage account on the web...
    The administration console opens.
  2. Sign in to the administration console using your Code42 app username and password.
  3. Select Devices > Active.
  4. Click on a device.
    Device detail appears.
  5. Click the action menu and choose Edit.
    The Device Backup Settings appear.
  6. Select Reporting.
  7. Next to Delivery time, either select a different time, or just note the time.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Go back to Device Overview.
  10. Select a different device.
  11. Repeat steps to change the delivery time to match the first device if necessary.
