Sign in to the administration console

Overview

Use the administration console to manage additional settings, perform web restores, and troubleshoot errors. This article explains how to access the console from the Code42 app as well as from the web.

Before you begin

To access the administration console from the web you must know the URL of your administration console. For CrashPlan for Small Business, the URL is https://www.crashplanpro.com/console/. For Code42 for Enterprise, contact your administrator if you do not know the URL of your administration console.

From the Code42 app

Use the Code42 app to access the administration console sign in screen.

  1. Open the Code42 app.
  2. Navigate to general preferences:
    • Code42 app version 6.8.3 and later
      1. From Home, select Settings > General.
    • Code42 app version 6.8.2 and earlier
      1. From Home, click Details.
      2. Click the arrow next to your device name.
      3. Select Device preferences > General.
  3. Click Manage account on the web.
    The administration console opens in your browser.

  1. Enter the username and password for your Code42 account.
  2. Click Sign In.
  3. If necessary, select Administration.
    The administration console opens.

From the web

If you cannot access the Code42 app, you can access the administration console from any supported web browser:

  1. Visit one of the following URLs. If you don't know which URL below applies to you, contact your Code42 administrator or our Customer Champions​ for assistance:

  1. Enter your Code42 username and password.
  2. Click Sign in.
  3. If necessary, select Administration.
    The administration console appears.
