Files not appearing in CrashPlan mobile app

Overview

If your files are not visible in the CrashPlan mobile app, review this article for troubleshooting information and solutions.

Considerations

Only files backed up to a cloud destination, such as CrashPlan Central, can be accessed from the CrashPlan mobile app.

Diagnosing

Verify that your files are backed up to a cloud destination:

  1. Open the CrashPlan app.
  2. Select Restore.
  3. (Optional) If you are backing up to multiple destinations, select the From backup destination menu and choose a cloud destination, such as CrashPlan Central.
  4. Review the file list to see if your files are backed up.

Recommended solution

If your files are not backed up to a cloud destination, add them to your backup file selection. If your files are backed up to a cloud destination, but do not appear in the CrashPlan mobile app, uninstall and reinstall the mobile app.
