Current version
8.2.6 Code42 server installers
Choose the download file for your host server's operating system:
- Linux | MD5 (Linux uses the same installer file for both authority servers and storage servers.)
- Windows 64-bit authority server | MD5
- Windows 64-bit storage server | MD5
8.2.3 Code42 app
The Code42 app package files contain both installers for new devices and upgrade files for existing devices. App package files also enable administrators to automatically deploy Code42 apps to all devices in their Code42 environments.

Package files for Internet-connected authority servers
If your authority server is connected to the Internet, Code42 recommends downloading the package files from the App Downloads section of the Code42 console.
Package files for authority servers with no Internet connection
If your authority server is not connected to the Internet, follow the steps below to make the Code42 app available in the Code42 console:
- Download the package files for each operating system in use on user devices.
- Follow the steps in Add clients to your Code42 environment.
Installers for a single device
For new installations on a specific device, administrators and users can download the Code42 app from the Code42 console, or from the links below.
The links above apply only to Code42 for Enterprise environments. If you are a CrashPlan for Small Business customer, follow these instructions to download the Code42 app.
