Overview

CrashPlan for Small Business administrators can use User Account Settings to configure two-factor authentication requirements for accessing the Code42 console.

To access User Account Settings, select Settings > User Account Settings from the left navigation menu.

a Two-factor authentication

Defines two-factor authentication requirements for accessing the Code42 console.

  • Enabled: Requires users signing in to the Code42 console to configure two-factor authentication (Google Authenticator is our recommended application). Users must then provide a one-time authentication code in addition to their CrashPlan for Small Business username and password to access the Code42 console.
  • Disabled: Users are only required to provide their CrashPlan for Small Business username and password to access the Code42 console.

Affected users:

  • This setting does not apply to the Code42 app
