Overview

Your Code42 authority server address is the network address for communication with user devices and other Code42 servers. This article describes how to find your authority server address from the multiple places it appears in your Code42 environment:

Find address in the Code42 app

To view the authority server address from the Code42 app:

  1. Access a device that has the Code42 app installed.
  2. Open the Code42 app.
  3. Select Details.
  4. Select the arrow icon next to the device name. 
  5. Select Device Preferences.
  6. Select Network
  7. Select Server Address 

Find address in the Code42 console

  1. Sign in to the Code42 console.
  2. Select Settings > Server.
    The Primary network address and Secondary network address appear in the General section.
