Power on or off a D1, M1, or S2 series server with the iDRAC web console

Overview
This article describes how to safely power on and power off a Code42 D1, M1, or S2 series server using the iDRAC web console.
Before you begin
Have the following available:
- Web browser access
- iDRAC IP address
- iDRAC username and password
Power on the server
- Enter the iDRAC IP address into a web browser to access the iDRAC console window.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Click Submit.
- In the Server section of the left navigation pane, click Power/Thermal.
- Select Power On System and click Apply.
- On the Warning dialog, click Yes.
The server powers on. - Click Logout in the upper-right corner of the iDRAC web console.
Power off the server
- Enter the iDRAC IP address into a web browser to access the iDRAC console window.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Click Submit.
- In the Server section of the left navigation pane, select Power/Thermal.
- Select Graceful Shutdown and click Apply.

On the Warning dialog, click Yes.
The server powers off. -
Click Logout in the upper-right corner of the iDRAC web console.
