Overview
The My Profile screen displays summary info and graphical views about your recent activity and the location of your devices. The action menu contains commands to edit your profile and view deactivated devices.
My Profile
To view your user profile, sign in to the Code42 console.
- Version 6.5.x and later: Select My Profile from the Account menu in the upper-right of the Code42 console.
- Versions 6.0.x and earlier: Select My Profile from the Code42 console left navigation menu.

From the My Profile action menu you can:

Edit your user account information:

Show Deactivated Devices* | View devices you've deactivated. |
Hide Deactivated Devices* | Hide devices you've deactivated from the devices list. |
View Archives* | Opens the Archive List view, which displays information about the archives associated with your account. |
Search for Files* | Opens the File Search web app in a new tab. The search form is pre-populated with your user ID. This action is available only if you are authorized to use the File Search web app. |
Reset Password* | Sends you an email containing a link to reset your password. |
Prints the My Profile screen. (6.0.x only) |

Edit profile
To edit profile, select the action menu , and choose Edit.

Edit roles
Available to Code42 for Enterprise administrators only.

Edit indexing
Available only if you have administrator privileges and indexing is enabled.

a | Inherit indexing settings from organization | Indexes your data as defined for your organization, or sets your indexing separately from the organization. |
b | Index all archives | Enables indexing for your archives. Your archives are indexed if they are located on destinations that allow indexing. |
c | Do not index the contents of files with these extensions1 | Specifies a list of file extensions to exclude from content indexing. When adding a file extension, do not include a leading period (.) character. When a file extension is excluded, your Code42 servers do not index the contents of files with that extension. File metadata is still indexed. |
