Destination Status report reference

The Destination Status report gives you visibility to address common problems and answer common questions about locations where your Code42 environment stores backup data. To analyze the data in-depth, export the report results as a CSV file and use the data-analysis tool of your choice.

Destination Status report

To access the Destination Status report:

  1. Sign in to the administration console.

  2. Select the report:

Version 6.5 and later 

  1. From the left menu, select Reporting > Destination Status.

Version 6.0.x and earlier

  1. From the application selector in the upper-right corner of the administration console toolbar, select Reporting.
  2. Select the arrow next to Device Status Report.
  3. Select Destination Status Report.

Item Description
a Destination

Searches on destination name or device external reference.
Searches are case-sensitive.

b Destination UID Filters the search results by the unique identifier of a destination.
c Total Storage Used

Filters by total storage used:

  • Greater than or equal to
  • Less than or equal to
d GB Filters by number of gigabytes of total storage used.
e Active Storage Used

Filters by active storage used:

  • Greater than or equal to
  • Less than or equal to
f GB

Filters by number of gigabytes of active storage used.

g Cold Storage Used

Filters by cold storage used:

  • Greater than or equal to
  • Less than or equal to
h GB Filters by number of gigabytes of cold storage used.
i Run Report Submits the request to the authority server in order to generate the report.
j Export All As CSV Downloads a CSV file with the full results of a query.
k Table Configuration Options

Displays the Table Configuration Options dialog, which allows you to choose which fields provided by the DestinationStatusReport resource of the Code42 API are displayed.

The fields displayed by default:

  • Destination Name
  • Destination UID
  • Total Storage Used
  • Active Storage Used
  • Cold Storage Used

l Destination Name Name of the destination.
m Destination UID The unique identifier of the destination.
n Total Storage Used Total storage used for the destination.
o Active Storage Used Amount of active storage for the destination.
p Cold Storage Used Amount of cold storage for the destination.
q Destination Details Select a row in the query results to view the amount of storage used by servers and organizations.
Additional output values available if selected from Table Configuration Options (k).
  Result as of Date The effective date and time of the report data.
