Administrators and users can download the CrashPlan app from the Code42 console, or directly from the links below. Version 5.4.5 of the Code42 platform supports both version 4.8.x and 5.4.x of the CrashPlan app.
To make the CrashPlan app available in the Code42 console for master servers not connected to the internet, an administrator must:
- Download the package files below.
- Follow the steps in our Add clients to your Code42 environment tutorial.
The client package files also enable administrators to automatically deploy CrashPlan apps to all devices in their Code42 environments.

Windows 64-bit package upload known issue
Before adding version 5.4.5 of the Windows 64-bit client to a 5.4.x master server that is not connected to the internet, you must adjust a value via the Code42 console CLI to increase the maximum allowed upload file size. Because the 5.4.5 package is larger than the default file size of 512 MB, the package does not upload successfully and a "Server error" message appears unless you make the following adjustment:
- Sign in to the Code42 console.
- Double-click the Code42 logo in the upper-left.
The command-line interface appears.
- Enter this command and then press Enter:
prop.set c42.http.multipartUploadFileMaxSizeMB 750 save all
This increases the file size upload limit from 512 MB to 750 MB.
- Restart the master server.
