Manual Commands can be accessed through the CrashPlan logo in the upper-right corner of the CrashPlan app. These commands can be used to generate log files, start and stop the backup service, assign a new GUID and more.

    How It Works

    1. Open the CrashPlan app.
    2. Double-click the CrashPlan logo in the upper-right corner to open the command-line area in the desktop.
    3. Enter commands in text area.
    • Enter commands without quotes.
    • The commands are case-sensitive, so be sure to enter commands in lowercase as shown.
    • Use commas to separate multiple commands on a line.
