    Start by installing the CrashPlan app on one of your computers. The CrashPlan app is what you'll use to tell CrashPlan what, when, where, and how to back up. You can also use it to restore files, view what's backed up, and troubleshoot issues if they arise.

    Download And Install

    You can download the CrashPlan app installer from our website using any web browser. The website automatically detects which operating system you are using and recommends the installer that's right for you.

    Once you've downloaded the installer file, open it and click Yes to let the program make changes to your computer. A setup wizard opens to walk you through the process from start to finish.
