    The system requirements below apply to Code42 platform.

    Enterprise Server System Requirements

    Minimum Requirements
    The system specifications listed below are the minimum requirements for a production environment.

    Operating System Considerations
    Alpha, beta, and other pre-release operating systems are not supported. Only the specific operating system versions listed on this page are supported.

    The CrashPlan app requires a graphical user interface (GUI) for use on all operating systems.

    One of the following operating systems:

      • OS X v10.10.0 and v10.10.1 require SharePlan app version 4.1.5 or later
      • OS X v10.10.2 requires SharePlan app version 4.1.6 or later

    On Windows 7, .NET 4.5 must be installed prior to installing the SharePlan app.

    • The EXE version of the SharePlan app installer installs .NET 4.5.
    • The MSI version of the SharePlan app installer does not check for or install .NET 4.5.

    On 64-bit Windows devices, MS Visual C++ 2010 x64 also must be installed in order to use SharePlan. If MS Visual C++ 2010 x64 is not already installed, the SharePlan installer will install it.
