    Overview

    The system requirements below are for the current version of the enterprise server.

    System requirements for the CrashPlan app and SharePlan app are also available.

    Enterprise Server System Requirements

    Enterprise server version 4.1.x is supported on Code42 managed appliances in Managed Private Cloud environments.

    Network Requirements

    Enterprise Server Ports

    It is required that the following ports are accessible in order for your Code42 environment to function properly. These ports cannot be changed.

    • TCP 4280: HTTP access to the administration console and device upgrades
    • TCP 4282: Listening port on an enterprise server for device-to-server, mobile-device-to-server, and server-to-server communication
    • TCP 4283: Communication between servers within a destination
    • TCP 4285: HTTPS access to the administration console
    • TCP 4286: Communication between servers within a destination

    CrashPlan App And SharePlan App Ports

    • TCP 4243 (on localhost): Communication between the CrashPlan app or SharePlan app and the Code42 service
    • TCP 4242: Backup between devices under a single user account

    Administration Console Requirements

    • Minimum resolution: 1024×768
    • Supported web browsers (stable versions):
      • Chrome version 31 and later
      • Firefox version 26 and later
      • Internet Explorer 10, 11
      • Safari on OS X: version 6.1, 7 and later
      • Safari on iOS: Latest version
